Dr. Ying Xu joins IGERT program

Ying Xu has joined the faculty of the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering at UT Austin. Dr. Xu received her Ph.D. from Virginia Tech University and will continue her work on characterizing emissions of semi-volatile organic compounds (e.g. plasticizers, flame retardants and biocides) from indoor materials and products, investigating the fate, transport and human exposures associated with the releases of emerging contaminants in indoor environments, and on research related to green building materials and sustainable healthy buildings.
