Watching our grad students grow, both intellectually and socially, and emerge as outstanding leaders in the transportation field.  I believe the UT tagline says it best:  "What starts here changes the world".

The best part of my 23 years has been working with students and learning about other cultures and traditions. Some of my best email buddies are former graduate students who live thousands of miles away!

My favorite thing is working with people (students, staff, faculty and others throughout the US). I also enjoy hearing from students after they have graduated and learning how successful they are.
