Interests
Dr. Armstrong's interests are primarily water quality management, analysis, modeling, and policy and include water pollution ecology (including biomonitoring and bioassessment).  His current research includes: eutrophication analysis in rivers and lakes in Central Texas; review of USEPA and State policies on Total Mass Discharge Limitations (TMDLs); and review of USEPA's new National Strategy for the Development of Regional Nutrient Criteria.
