Backing Up Your Data

This is one of the ways to back up your data.

Step 1

Click Start menu and right click on My Computer.

 

From the start menu right-click on My Computer

Step 2

Click on Map Network Drive.

 

Click on Map Network Drive

Step 3

Fill out the folder field with \\civiladmin\staff.

 

Type '\\civiladmin\staff'

Step 4

On the same windows, click on different user name and type your username (ce-lrc\username) and password. Click ok.

 

Click 'different user' and enter your credentials

Step 5

Click on Finish.

Find your folder and double click on it.

Minimize your folder windows.

Go to the place where you saved your data/file on the local computer i.e My Documents. Right click on your file that you would like to back up and clik on Copy.

 

Copy your files from the local disk

Step 9

Go back to your staff folder or your folder on the server, right click on any free space and click Paste.

 

Paste the files in the mapped drive

Step 10

Your file has been saved on the server.
