Equipment Reservation
General Policy
- All Equipment Reservation Requests
- are for instructional use only.
- must be received at least two days in advance and on the proper LRC Reservation Form.
- are viewed as requests until the LRC Staff grants or denies the reservation.
- will be processed within a reasonable amount of time. You will be contacted on the status of the request by e-mail. Requests received within 24 hrs of desired time will NOT be processed.
- are processed on a first come-first serve basis.
- The user is responsible for picking up and returning the equipment.
- Alteration of Operating Systems will not be tolerated. If a user violates this policy, the LRC may cancel all scheduled reservations and deny future requests.
- The user of the equipment is responsible for any and all damages, other than equipment failure, that might occur during transport and use.
- All reservation times will be enforced. Any delay in returning equipment may cause problems with other scheduled reservations.
Portable Equipment Reservations
- A DELL Latitude laptop and multimedia projectors are available for checkout for use in classroom instruction.
- If you would like to display something from your own computer, a projector can be reserved individually.
- All software needed on the laptop must also be requested on the Reservation Request form. If someone wishes to place their own software on the machine, copies of the software can be given to the LRC Staff in advance to be installed, or individuals may install the software themselves. The software must also be compatible with Windows XP.
- Any files or programs left on the laptop after the reservation time will be erased.
