Student Lounge

The University Co-op lounge located in the basement of ECJ is now open for use by students. Although the lounge area is open to all students, the meeting rooms within the lounge area must be reserved.  Each room is equipped with a DELL Precision Workstation 360 with dual 19" flat screen displays and a DVD burner.  Each workstation has two keyboards and two mice which are both active at the same time!  This setup is intended for students working in teams to be able to simultaneously access and modify project files.

  • Please refrain from installing/removing/modifing the software. Check with the LRC staff for specific software requirements.
  • No food or drinks are allowed.
  • Please refrain from moving furniture and please use trash receptacles.
  • Workstations are to remain on at all times.

Schedule

Fall 2011 Semester:

The doors remained unlocked from 7 am to 10 pm Monday - Friday and 10 am to 10 pm Saturday and Sunday. Unsupervised open access is allowed during these times. Users must leave the area at all other times.

Reservations

  • All reservation requests are handled on a first come first serve basis and should be made at least 2 days in advance by sending an email to Danny Quiroz.  Requests received within 24 hours will not be processed.
  • Students working in project groups/teams have priority. Rooms will not be reserved unless the workstations are utilized.
