running at 15k rpm
- Tape drive - Internal Quatum DLT
- Network - Dual 10/100 NIC
- The system runs Abaqus 6.4 and also a VNC server for remote access.
Accounts are created on truss.ce.utexas.edu and user files are located at /home/%username% on truss.ce.utexas.edu.
Security requirements do not allow rlogin, telnet, or rsh. We are currently using SSH. SSH client programs are available for download from Bevoware. By using SSH you can log into truss.ce.utexas.edu.
