Personal Web Publishing: On STAFF Folder
Staff can publish there personal web page on the centralized file server, civiladmin, within their staff folder. A ce-lrc (link this to the CE-LRC User Account page) account is required to access your home directory.
In order for your web page URL to be http://www.ce.utexas.edu/staff/username you must name your homepage one of the following:
home.html or home.htm
index.html or index.htm
this file should be placed in you public_html directory within your STAFF folder.
Step 1
Go to Start menu and right click on My Computer.

Step 2
Click on My Network Drive.

Step 3
Fill out the folder field with
\\civiladmin\staff.

Step 4
On the same windows, click on different user name and type your username (ce-lrc\username) and password. Click ok.

Step 5
Click on Finish.
Step 6
Find your folder and double click on it.

Step 7
Double click on public_html folder.

Step 8
Minimize your staff folder windows.

Step 9
Go to the place where you saved your web page files on the local computer i.e. My Web. Right click on your file and click on Copy.

Step 10
Go back to your public_html folder and right click on any free space and click Paste.

Step 11
Your file has been uploaded and you can check them by going to http://www.ce.utexas.edu/staff/username.
