Desmond Lawler Receives WEAT Lifetime Achievement Award

Desmond F. Lawler, Professor in environmental and water resources engineering, has been selected to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT). The award is presented to "an individual who has demonstrated continual and tireless contributions toward the improvement of the water environment throughout a long and distinguished career in the wastewater treatment industry and in WEAT/WEF."
The award will be presented to Lawler at the Texas Water 2010 conference held in Corpus Christi April 13-16.
