Wassim Ghannoum Becomes ACI Committee 369 Chair

The assistant professor will serve as committee chair, effective April 2013.
Wassim Ghannoum, assistant professor in structural engineering, has accepted the chair position on Committee 369, Seismic Repair and Rehabilitation, within the American Concrete Institute (ACI). His three-year term will begin on April 13, 2013.
The mission of Seismic Repair and Rehabilitation is to “develop and report information on the repair or rehabilitation of building structures to improve earthquake resistance.”
