David Maidment
David R. Maidment, Hussein M. Alharthy Centennial Chair in Civil Engineering, was selected to receive the 2012 Ray K. Linsley Award from the American Institute of Hydrology. The award commemorates Ray Linsley, as distinguished professor of civil engineering at Stanford University, and recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions in surface water hydrology.
Maidment is a specialist in surface water hydrology, and in particular in the application of geographic information systems to hydrology.
