Biography
Originally from El Paso, Texas, (where the sun shines over
320 days a year), Gabe grew up within a stones through of
the U.S./Mexican border and the Mighty Rio Grande. He is a
proud alum of Ysleta High School and the University of Texas
at El Paso (affectionately known to many as UTEP) where he
was active in the school’s chapters of Chi Epsilon, Tau Beta
Pi, and the National Society of Black Engineers. He received
his B.S. in Civil Engineering from UTEP in 2007, and upon
doing so, left the Sun City to pursue a M.S. Degree in
Environmental and Water Resources Engineering (EWRE) from
the University of Texas at Austin. In Austin, Gabe likes to
contribute academically, athletically, and socially to EWRE
any chances he gets, and aspires to one day become an
outdoorsman.
