Biography
Hello, my name is Ruiling Zhang and I come from China. I
finished my M.S. work in Microbiology at Hebei Agriculture
University of China in July, 2004 and I got my Ph.D degree
of Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University of China in
August, 2007. I was working in Dr. Reible’s
research group of Civil and Environmental Engineering of UT
Austin as a visiting student from Sep 2007 to Aug 2008. My hobbies include collection
and travel.
Research
My research interests are in the environmental bioremediation and transport of bacteria in the environment. Currently, I am trying to apply electrical potential to induce biodegradation of contaminants to treat contaminated sediments.
