Biography

I received my B.S. and M.S in Environmental Engineering in 2003 and in 2005 from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. After that, I spent two years in University of Florida and got my master degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering. I began my PhD studies at The University of Texas at Austin from September, 2007.

Research

Organoclay (clay modified by quaternary alkylammine salt) can be used as active capping material to stabilize and contain contaminants in sediment. My research is to understate the fate and transport of contaminants in sediments beneath organoclay capping materials.
