The National Academy of Engineering officially welcomed its 2020 class of inductees at its Annual Meeting on October 2nd in Washington, DC.
Because this was the NAE's first in-person meeting since 2020, the organization inducted classes 2021 and 2022 as well. Members into the NAE are peer-elected, and are established as leaders within the engineering community. Dr. Gilbert is internationally recognized as an expert in geotechnical engineering.
