About

Oguzhan Bayrak is a professor in the Fariborz Maseeh Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering and the director of the Ferguson Structural Engineering Laboratory at The University of Texas at Austin. He received his B.S. in civil engineering from the Middle East Technical University, as well as his M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, both in civil engineering/structures.

Bayrak is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Award and the Joe J. King Professional Engineering Achievement Award from The University of Texas at Austin.
