Bio
Robert Ramon has over 16 years of experience in overall design and management in the field of transportation engineering. He has managed, designed, and produced schematic and PS&E projects, participated in design-build projects, and provided services in a general engineering consultant role. His projects include the design of new location roadways, upgrades to Interstate standards, roadway widenings, interchange/intersection improvements and toll facilities.
Ramon is particularly passionate about mentoring and developing young engineers. In addition to leading his office’s Highways team, he is the co-instructor for the Cockrell School of Engineering’s Engineering Professionalism course, in which he guides graduating students to develop real projects for real clients.
