Here are the parameters for US Albers Equal Area projection. This projection preserves earth surface area in the projected domain and the parameters have been chosen so as to be suitable for displaying maps of the continental United States. These are the default parameters that should be used for a project located arbitrarily in the country, and they are particularly suitable for application in States in the center of the country, such as Texas and the Midwestern States.
