Mapping the File Server (CIVIL) to a drive letter in Windows 2000/XP

1. Click with the right mouse button on 'My Network Places'.
2. Select 'Map Network Drive'.

Mapping a Network Drive in XP

Please note: You do not need to modify the drive field. This is automatically assigned for you. Leaving the default value is fine.

3. You can check the "Reconnect at logon" box if this is your office PC.

4. To map to STU directory: enter \\146.6.89.140\stu in the Folder field

***the following step only needs to be done if you are not already logged in with your ce-lrc account***

5. Click on "different user name" and connect as ce-lrc\username

6. Click OK then Finish.
The root directory of the server volume will appear in a window on your screen.
