The University of Texas at Austin’s Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering is once again ranked in the top five in the U.S. News & World Report's annual rankings, strengthening the department's position as one of the nation’s best engineering programs.

The undergraduate program in Civil Engineering is ranked No. 4 and the Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering program has risen to the rank of No. 5.

In addition, the Cockrell School of Engineering is ranked as the No.11 best engineering school in the country, and several of UT Austin’s engineering programs ranked in the nation’s top 10 for their respective programs, according to the rankings released on Sept. 12.

The department's civil and environmental engineering graduate programs are both ranked No. 4 in the U.S. News and Report's 2018 graduate program rankings earlier this year.
