Who can best use this site?

While this site is intended for students in the Civil Engineering Elementary Fluid Mechanics class (CE 319F) at the University of Texas at Austin, anyone interested in learning about basic fluid mechanics principles and applications may benefit from these pages. Also, since this site was designed as an experiment in "virtual teaching," anyone searching for information on interactive instructional media will find many examples within the Interactive Classroom.

Main Pages

This site is arranged in a hierarchical system (see Globe Icon Site Map). All of the main index pages can be accessed from the CE 319F home page. The icons used on the home page are also repeated in the menu bar at the bottom of each index page to allow any index page to be referenced directly from any other.

Interactive Classroom

Menu Bar The pages within the Interactive Classroom are arranged slightly differently. Each of the index pages within this section can be referenced directly from the Interactive Classroom home page. From here, the index pages take on a different form. Each lists the main pages in the group with a menu bar on the left-hand side. This menu bar is then maintained when you are on any page in the group for easy referencing. For example, the lab pages will always have a menu bar on the side allowing you to reference any of the nine labs from any page within the lab section. NOTE: These menu bars are maintained using frames. If your browser does not support frames you may have difficulty with the pages in the Interactive Classroom.
