Stephen G. Wright
Steve Wright, professor emeritus in Geotechnical Engineering was selected to receive the 2013 H. Bolton Seed Medal from ASCE. The Seed Medal recognizes outstanding contributions to teaching, research, and/or practice in geotechnical engineering.
He is being recognized for his numerous and fundamental contributions in the areas of stability analysis of earth slopes and the characterization of the shear strength of soils. Wright will receive the award and give his Seed Lecture at the ASCE Geo-Institute meeting in San Diego in March.
