Lance Manuel
Lance Manuel, professor in Mechanics, Uncertainty, and Simulation in Engineering (MUSE), has received the Texas Blazers Outstanding Faculty Award at the Texas Blazers Faculty Appreciation Breakfast held in November 2012. Manuel was one of sixteen faculty members from across the University of Texas to be honored with this award.
UT Austin's Texas Blazers were founded in 1994, by a group of men who wanted to create an organization committed to a more "hands-on" approach to service that included high standards of academics and leadership.
