Associate Professor Todd Helwig has been selected by ASCE’s Structural Engineering Institute to receive the 2014 Shortridge Hardesty Award.
The award is for Helwig's “wide-ranging and substantial impacts in the field of structural stability,” with a particular note related to his “translating of structural stability research into practice.”
Helwig will receive this award in early April during the 2014 Structures Congress in Boston.
