Polina (Lina) Sela is an associate professor in the Fariborz Maseeh Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.

Sela’s research interests lie in the field of intelligent urban water systems, encompassing optimal design and operation, fault diagnosis and prediction, resilient networks and advanced analytics to inform more informed decisions through integrated sensing and data collection.
