Presented by the Academy of Distinguished Alumni
Topic: Career Options - Pros and Cons
Gain insights from industry leaders on how they navigated their career paths, and explore the pros and cons of various career options to help you make informed decisions about your own future.
Abstract:
You will hear from our panelists about their career journeys, and hopefully, you will learn a few things about making decisions in your own career path. Are you trying to decide if your first job should be with a large engineering firm or a small one? Would it be better to work for a public agency? Are you ready to start your own business, or do you think owning one might be in your future? What are the benefits and drawbacks of working for a mega corporation that does more than just engineering? These UT engineering alumni have learned the hard way what you should know NOW! Men, women, people of color, raised in small towns or big cities — they all bring unique challenges, and these professionals will share their experiences and answer questions — even the ones you didn’t know you should be asking yourself!
Bring your questions and take advantage of this opportunity to chat with this great Alumni Panel!
