Members enjoy biweekly meetings with a Corporate Partner presentation and dinner, socials, intramural sports teams, ASCE technical competitions, company site-visits, internship and full-time job opportunities, scholarship opportunities, and more.
To join ASCE and enjoy the benefits of being a member, simply come to one our general meetings, or head to the ASCE office, ECJ 2.208, and pay dues! General dues are $25 for the entire school year. For seniors, dues are discounted to $20! You can pay your dues with cash, check (payable to American Society of Civil Engineers), or online, which can be found on our linktree.
General Meetings
General meetings are held every two weeks, and are crucial to the communication between officers and members about recent accomplishments and upcoming events. Our meetings are held every other Wednesday night at 6pm, and are a great opportunity to learn about our Corporate Partners and gain insight into their industry. Dinner is provided for paid members, giving them a chance to relax from the stresses of the week, sit back, and enjoy time with their peers.
Austin ASCE Meetings
Students are greatly encouraged to attend the Austin ASCE Meetings, held the third Tuesday of each month. Our Austin ASCE Representative, chosen each semester, is the leader in organizing transportation and registration of students wishing to attend the Branch Meeting. This is a great way for students to connect with local professionals, get an inside look at civil engineering projects, and enjoy a free lunch with your peers!
